Challenges

Challenges are the individual tasks within a station. Clavis supports five challenge types.

Text

Open-ended text input. Configure:

• Description / instructions (multilingual)
• Maximum character count (default: 5000)

Suitable for descriptions, observations, and creative writing.

Quiz

Single or multiple choice. Configure:

• Question (multilingual)
• Answer options (multilingual, any number)
• Mark the correct answer(s)

Quiz challenges are scored automatically.

QR Scan

Participants scan a QR code. Configure:

• Expected QR code value (the exact text encoded in the QR code)

The value must match exactly. Participants can also enter the code manually.

Photo

Participants upload a photo. No further configuration required beyond the description and points.

Creative

Text and photo input combined. Configure:

• Prompt / instructions (multilingual)

At least text or photo is required on submission.
